FAIRFIELD COUNTY CHAPTER MISSION
Regional NEMBA aims to focus on Trails, Advocacy, and Community. FC NEMBA strives to achieve this common goal through its contribution of over 600 hours a year of trail building and maintenance. FC NEMBA keeps an open dialogue with land managers, owners, and partners. FC NEMBA not only works on trails for mountain bikers, but for ALL trail users including hikers, runners, equestrians, and more. FC NEMBA aims to be inclusive and encourage trail users of all abilities to come out and enjoy the incredible trail systems in Fairfield County.
In addition to trail work, FC NEMBA hosts weekly group rides for all experience and ability levels of mountain bikers. Whether one is new to the sport, or a seasoned rider, we invite you to join us!

ADVOCACY
The Fairfield County Chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association hosts regular trail maintenance at local parks and preserves on a monthly basis nearly year-round and supports existing trail programs at area parks, too.
Volunteers need to bring their own gloves, water, and bug spray. FC NEMBA provides expertise, tools, and refreshments.
All work sessions run 8:45am-noon unless otherwise noted, and are followed by a ride. Please check our Facebook Group prior to a trail session for the latest info, such as meeting place and any special instructions.
