MIANUS RIVER PARK

The Mianus River Park has a tight network of both fire roads and singletrack. Featuring a few climbs, some short runs to bomb down, and a smattering of tech sections all tied together with several interconnected loops, it's a fun place to ride. As a warning, Mianus can seem maze-like given the sheer number of trails, but with the Mianus River as the centerpiece of the Park, it is hard to get lost.

There's a good variety of scenery from trails that skirt the edge of the river to winding ascents past all shapes and sizes of rock outcroppings. Further up in the hills, the trails tend to be gnarly and rooty with a few rollers, log rides, and hucking opportunities scattered throughout.

With a wide variety of well-maintained, smooth, flowy trails and challenging technical lines, it's a popular destination. Conveniently located between the Merritt Parkway (CT-15) and I-95, Mianus is a refreshing escape to nature for those grinding away in nearby cities.
